Our blogging platform is based upon LifeType, an open source blogging platform with support for multiple users, blogs and even domains. You can learn more about LifeType by visiting the LifeType Wiki.
You have complete control over your blog. You can choose a new template whenever you want. You can add the users that you need to manage your blog or add new posts. When posting new articles you can choose the category, create a new category and set if comments should be allowed or not.
You can even change the subdomain or domain that used to access your blog. If you want to use your own domain, it is vital that you choose the last option in the dropdown box and enter a fully qualified domain name, for example: blog.yourdomain.com. If you are using one of our domains, simply enter the host or subdomain portion. This will be appended to the domain that you choose for access to your blog, for example: mynewblog.freeblogplace.com if you choose freeblogplace.com as the domain. You can choose any of the following domains:
- hacknflak.com
- freeblogplace.com
- freeblogplace.net
- freeblogplace.org
- binary-sewer.com
- nomoderation.com
- peopleorsheeple.com
If the subdomain has already been taken in one domain, you can see if it is still available at one of the other domains. This is one of the reasons that we provide options for the domain, along with allowing you to choose something you may like.
This blog will be the primary method of providing support for our users. Because the services we offer are free the resources we can provide are limited but we will provide support to you via this blog. Plus our users can help each other by using the comments on this blog to communicate. If you have a question or need assistance please add a comment here. The system is set to notify our helpdesk whenever a new comment is added and we will strive to provide a response within 1 business day.
